With decades of combined experience in every aspect of the field, from manufacture to refurbishment, our people are the reason we can supply the most technically capable, up to the minute solutions every time.
History is important, but it’s how we grow and what we provide today that matters the most. Giromax is a team-orientated company and every member plays a key role in driving our current and future performance.
What is it you do at Giromax
After the passing of my father, I have taken over the mantle of Managing Director. I now lead Giromax forward to continue to be the leader and innovators of the cut edge corrosion industry.
Tell us more about your experience?
Prior to starting my position as Managing Director, I worked in various roles within the company, including Stores, Technical services manager and head of marketing. I was the field engineer for the Central region, and I also surveyed buildings and conducted technical site inspections and material training.
Fun fact about you?
In my spare time, I volunteer as a Cub Leader in the guise of Shere Khan and run the line on match days for my son’s football team. I like to relax by going to the gym, baking and building Lego.
What is it you do at Giromax?
I am General Manager, and my job is to ensure that the company delivers on its goals for its employees, customers, and owners.
Tell us more about your particular role?
My role is to ensure that our customers are satisfied and our employees and partners engaged. I also ensure that our product is the best on the market and that our technical field team fully supports our contractors.
Fun fact about you?
I am a yoga addict and I practice daily – Yes, I can do the splits. I was born and brought up on a sheep farm in Western Australia.
What is it you do at Giromax?
I am a Technical Director.
What do you like best about your particular role?
I enjoy learning technical knowledge of something I never thought I would be involved in, as well as the freedom of being able to explore my particular area.
Fun fact about you?
If I could have any superpower it would be to save wildlife!!! My love of things is so diverse from wildlife to Leicester City, and from cricket to archaeology.
What is it you do at Giromax?
My job title at Giromax is Client Relationship Manager.
Tell us more about your particular role?
I am also responsible for delivering both seminars and webinars throughout the country.
Fun fact about you?
I love sports, mainly supporting the mighty Celtic FC, and playing golf quite badly.
What is it you do at Giromax?
I am a technical services manager. My role is to maximise and create sales for the company by building strong relationships with contractors and surveyors. I am also a main point of contact in regards to technical support, training and specification requirements.
Tell us more about your duties?
My duties include presenting CPD Seminars, site application inspections, resolution of product issues, attending and creating the subsequent survey condition reports and general coaching and training of the junior members of the technical field team.
Fun fact about you?
I generally keep it professional but at heart, I am a cheeky cockney from the East end of London. In my former life, I was a Head Chef for nearly 20 years!
What is it you do at Giromax?
I am a Technical Services Manager for the Central Region.
What do you like best about your role?
I really enjoy the variety of people I get to meet on a day to day basis, and of course, working closely with the team around me.
Fun fact about you?
I like pushing boundaries. I have completed the national three peaks challenge, jumped out of a plane, done the largest zipwire in Europe, jumped a 300ft bungee and I am now looking for more challenging things I can do!
What is it you do at Giromax?
I assist the Technical Service Mangers with on going site inspections. This allows Giromax to monitor how the product is applied, support the contractors in their application process and ultimately ensure the project is completed to a level where Giromax can provide the relevant guarantees to the clients.
Tell us more about your experience?
Previously I was involved in working with large drones in a variety of situations which I hope to bring this experience to the drone surveys we complete.
Fun fact about you?
I currently enjoy coaching my daughters football team and my sons rugby team, living my sporting dreams through them.
What is it you do at Giromax?
What don’t I do… Seriously, my role is technical manager.
What do you like best about your particular role?
Over the years, I have developed knowledge of most aspects of the business, therefore I am able to ensure we look at the overall picture when we are dealing with any query, especially technical ones. The boys will say all I do is nag, but someone’s got to try and keep them in order. I have also been involved with warehouse management and stock control, as well as other ad hoc projects which have included e-marketing, literature design and Brexit preparations.
Fun fact about you?
Take your pick – depends on what you think is fun! As a child I managed to get knocked down on a zebra crossing. I have also done a parachute jump and scuba dive – so much for keeping my feet on solid ground!
What is it you do at Giromax?
My role at Giromax is the accurate receipt of goods into the warehouse, picking and packing, despatching of products, general administration and keeping the warehouse in a tidy and orderly condition, ensuring health and safety protocol at all times
Fun fact about you?
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, walking and cycling. I love going on holiday (when able). I also love reading and watching football.
What is it you do at Giromax?
I am an accountant at Giromax, providing daily support to the business through managing various aspects of company’s finances.
Tell us more about your experience?
My background is in the insurance sector and more recently in the accountancy practice. Prior to joining Giromax, I worked for an accountancy firm providing support for the small and medium size enterprises in South Leicestershire for almost 15 years. I particularly enjoyed helping the established businesses and budding entrepreneurs alike navigate through continued regulatory and technological changes.
Using this and previous experience as financial controller for the insurance company, I now support Giromax to communicate the company’s measurable values to the stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, travelling and experiencing other cultures and cuisines.
What is it you do at Giromax?
I support our customer relationship management through business development and telemarketing, helping to maintain and grow relationships with clients across the country. Working closely with the team as we deliver CPD seminars to commercial surveyors nationwide.
What is it you do at Giromax?
I am largely involved in sales and ordering administration but also provide support for all other office tasks. I liaise with customers and with our Field Engineers. My key roles are processing orders, customer services and dealing with our couriers.
Tell us more about your experience?
I previously worked in Supply Chain for a market leading furniture fittings distributor. This gave me excellent experience in getting the right goods to the right place at the right time – which is also very important at Giromax.
